By the end of 2024, since 2012, the Education Foundation will have given $1,103,363 to teachers, students and children in Loudon County to assist with teaching and learning.
We have funded grants for books in schools to update libraries and classrooms, we have funded STEM projects and math programs, art classes and 3-D printers. We have ensured that over 2000 children 0 – 5 have received books each month – that is 24,000 books!
When I say “we” have accomplished these things – that includes you! Our donors are who make all of our giving possible. And now as the year end approaches, I am asking you to make a contribution to the Loudon County Education Foundation so that we are able to continue to make such an important contribution in our community. Supporting education ensures an educated workforce, it saves millions in hidden costs like health care and incarceration, it keeps property taxes low by assisting in the recruitment of businesses and industries who help shoulder the tax burden.
Education is truly the foundation of a successful community. We need your support now more than ever. Please make a gift today!
You can use the donate button below to give on-line or mail a check today to LCEF, 201 Simpson Road, Lenoir City, TN 37771.
Thank you for your consideration of this request. Your gift will make a difference.
Sincerely,
Michele Lewis, Loudon County Education Foundation Executive Director, michele@lceftn.org
